Quick Test

I am testing the new-to-me app I downloaded from Google Play. The app is called blogger. This app is supposed to allow me to blog on the go from my android phone.

Also, we could use this test post to test any feeds that are linked to the blog. If you received notification of a new post, please comment below and let me know that the feed was successful.

On this new blogging forum that I am using, it is hard for me to know who receives notification of a new blog post.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure that I am satisfied with Blogger at this point or if I should keep the WordPress blog as the primary forum.

If you have any opinions, comments, or suggestions for me - please let me know. You can contact me through the contact form on the right side bar or by leaving a comment below.

I can assure you that no comments will hurt my feelings or upset me, because I am looking for honest feedback.

Thank you for reading!

  1. I received the new post in my Wordpress reader just as I would other posts.

  2. I received your "test post" in my reader. It is my opinion that in my search to start a blog I tried blogger.com first and was utterly confused about how to use it, so when I found WordPress I was in heaven because it was so easy. Much luck to you and your decision.

  3. Well, I got this one but haven't received any others today. My sister uses Blogger and seems quite content with it, but I have noticed that I don't receive the notification of her new posts until around 4 a.m. the following morning, so I just go to her site after I know she's done a post so I can see it on time. I have other friends who use WordPress, and I get their notifications immediately. Not sure whether that's a setting my sister needs to adjust or not, but it was a bit frustrating to me until I realized what was happening. Anyway, I hope you can find one you're happy with! :-)

  4. I started blogging on blogger a few weeks before I went to WordPress, because that is where my husband has been writing his blogs for the past three years. I did, therefore, have someone to show me around and soon picked it up. Going to WP I found very hard going, it is a more "professional" site and you need to be more techy I think to use everything? Anyway, we are both on WP as well as blogger now. As for the timing of posts, yes it would be the settings, although I have found they easily slide out of them, so a good idea to check. I use stat counter for both sites as well.

    1. Thank you Amanda. Sorry for the late response to your comment. Blogger doesn't give comment notifications (which is a perk for wordpress).
